My Otter Diary

Synopsis

In this beautiful and heartwarming documentary, wildlife filmmaker Sugandhi Gadadhar explores the secretive lives of a family of smooth-coated otters in one of India’s most rapidly changing waterways - the river Cauvery. With the guidance and friendship of local fisherman Shivu, she discovers that the otters have learned to be both crafty and resilient. This film captures never-before-filmed otter behaviour while subtly articulating the brewing conflict.
