Synopsis
The Prathyaksha Raksha Daiva Sabha (PRDS) is an intellectual movement
founded by Poykayil Appachan. While Appachan is widely acknowledged as the movement’s founder, it is evident that the movement’s success cannot be attributed solely to him.
Following the demise of Appachan, Ammachi led the movement for 46 years. As there are no previous studies regarding Ammachi in the fields of Kerala history, this work aims to provide an introduction to her life and legacy.
