Synopsis
In the gullies of main-town Amalner, a small domestic business of crafting handmade Shevai flourishes each summer. As one wanders through the narrow gullies on summer afternoons, the sight of Shevai threads hanging from sticks inside almost every household is very common. This film centres around the art of Shevai-making, interwoven with the lives of its practitioners against a backdrop of industrial, environmental, and cultural shifts.
