Synopsis
Khongjomnubi tells the story of Thokchom Ibemhal, a woman in her late seventies whose life reflects resilience, humility, and an unbreakable spirit. By day, she sells vegetables in the market, but on the track, she finds her true freedom, running with unyielding passion despite countless challenges.
Though age and financial struggles weigh heavily on her, Ibemhal’s determination remains strong. Inspired by the spirit of Nupi Lal(Women's War). Khongjomnubi is a tribute to a woman whose courage runs beyond the finish line. As her family urges her to stop, believing her time has passed, the question remains, will she give up or keep running?
