Synopsis

In the 1980s, traditional fishermen across Kerala’s coast mobilised for welfare rights and a curb on mechanised deep-sea trawling. Through the memories of key participants in Calicut, the film revisits a movement that shaped the state’s marine resource conservation policies and the rights of fishing communities.
