Synopsis

Ummade Alamarah (Mother’s Wardrobe) is a personal documentary that explores memory, space, ownership, and womanhood through my mother’s intimate relationship with her wardrobe. Through conversations, clothing, preserved objects, and everyday domestic details, the film traces how an ordinary alamarah becomes deeply tied to my mother’s personal history and emotional world. More than a household object, it becomes a space of privacy, comfort, memory, and selfhood carrying traces of marriage, family.
