Synopsis
The documentary focuses on the life and achievements of Jyotiprasad Agarwala, a pioneering filmmaker from the north-east, highlighting his significant contributions to cinema by making the first feature film, Joymoti (1935), and the second feature film, Indramalati (1939), in Assamese. Through the filmmaker's journey, the documentary aims to pay tribute to this relatively unknown outside of the North-East region.
