Synopsis
In a crumbling Vidyashram in Kalyani, West Bengal, elderly and disabled residents struggle to survive in a shelter founded by Kakima, a woman shaped by her own tragic past. For nearly two decades, she has offered refuge to those abandoned by society. As the film observes the fragile everyday lives of its 15+ boarders, the sanctuary’s fading walls begin to reveal deeper truths, hidden wounds, and the complex realities beneath compassion and survival.
